Dubai is the most populous city in the united Arab emirates (UAE) and is the capital of the emirate of Dubai. Dubai airport looks like the insides of bappi lahiris brain (a.k.a gold everywhere). It’s not surprising to find millions of bright light’s, gold and skyscrapers in one of the world’s richest cities. Apart from all the glitz and glam Dubai is also modest in a few ways such as the beaches (that are made of concrete) and their dressing sense.
Dubai is known for its world famous hotels such as the burj al arab jumeirah that look like a sail. It isn’t called the world’s most luxurious hotel for nothing.
Atlantis is another 7 star hotel that houses one of the world’s largest aquariums. The rooms in this hotel are one of a kind, as you can share a common window with the fishes and sharks! As the name suggests the décor and theme is inspired by the mythical lost land of Atlantis. This hotels design and color combinations are very charming and when your there its almost like you’re in a dreamland.
The bur khalifa is the words tallest building…. It towers high at a whooping 828m with 163 floors. The view from the top is simply breathtaking. Do go there when the sun is down so then you will be able to see the city in all its glory!
Apart from all these attractions, the food there is to die for, I don’t know what it is …the quality or the cooks or even Lebanese food in general is fit enough to be eaten by the gods (I am not exaggerating). And don’t even get me started on the shopping. Although I have to say my personal favorite is the Dubai creek and the marina. There’s just something about walking by the tall city lights at nights when you know you there’s promising food that’s waiting for ;P
